Fall is on its way and I am loving the cooler weather. One thing I really enjoy about this time of year is just being able to open my windows in my sewing area and sew on a project and feell like I am outside.

We are now offering T-shirts at the shop. Pick the design you want, the t-shirt size and color and we will heat press it onto your t-shirt. It will be ready to go in 3 to 4 minutes. Check out some of the designs that we have available.

New Saturday Sampler beginning in October, 2025
Saturday, October 18th, 2025
We have two quilts to choose from - Fall or Winter
Read information below the pictures. The fall quilt will get a small outer border to finish the quilt, but I wanted to get a picture out to everyone so you can start deciding which one you will pick.
 
If you have never done a Saturday Sampler with us we would love to have you come and join us on the third Saturday of every month beginning in October.The first month you will pay a fee of $13 and receive your first pattern and fabric to make your first block. Then you have all month to make this block and bring it back on the third Saturday of the next month and receive your next block for FREE. You will continue to do this for the rest of the year. If for some reason you can not make it to one of the Saturdays you can purchase your block and get it made up for the next month and start receiving your blocks for free again.At this time we have two options for you to recieve your block for Free. The first option is you come at 10 am or noon on the third Saturday - we open at 9:30 for the 10 am session on that Saturday to be ready to start at 10. We do show and tell, share with you new items in the shop, draw for door prizes and you get your next block. The second option is you come in anytime between 2 pm and 4 pm and get your block free by showing your completed block from the previous mont. After the first month you always need to bring your completed block from the previous month in order to receive your new block for Free.*When you sign up you are also signing up to get the panel that goes with the color way you choose. You can do both, but will only get one block free each month and will have to pay the $8 for the additional color way.Call if you would like to participate in this Sampler and let us know what color you will want to do, or if you would like to do both.

Divided Basket Class

You'll love this versatile basket for storing all sorts of goodies. This is a structured basket with a sewn in divided liner, front pocket and 2 handle variations. You will want to make one for all your friends for Christmas!

Curvy Log Cabin Class
Wednesday, October 8th from 10 am - 2 pm
Class Fee: $40, Instructor: Cristen Jones
Curvy log cabin is a twist on the traditional log cabin block. If you are not a perfect 1/4" piecer - No Problem! Achieve perfect blocks using the Creative Grids Curvy Log Cabin Trim Tool. There are many different ways to set together this quilt, but we will be using the Carousel pattern designed for this ruler. The quilt is 60" x 60", but you can make a table runner, or make more blocks to cover the bed. Your choice! This project uses 20 fat quarters, 10 light and 10 dark. We have put together a FQ pack of 20 that Cristen picked for her sample, or we will be happy to help you find the 20 that you are in love with.
